Cancellation & Refund Policy

How membership refunds, funded jobs and cancellations currently work. Updated September 24, 2026.

Membership subscriptions

Basic is free. Gold is a recurring subscription charged at the price and interval shown at checkout. You can cancel from Settings → Membership; benefits remain until the end of the paid billing period. The membership sign-up agreement offers a full refund request within 30 days of first signing up. Refund requests are reviewed by support; cancelling a subscription does not itself issue a refund.

Creator job payments and escrow

When paying for selected talent, the creator is charged the selected talent payout amounts plus the creator-tier service fee (Basic 20%; Gold or Pro 10% of base talent rates). Gold talent currently receive a 20% bonus on their base rate in the checkout calculation. The amount due is displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe and tracked as held job funds until eligible payouts are approved.

Cancelling a funded job

For a fully held escrow that has not been partially released, the creator or an admin can cancel it. The current automated calculation retains 20% of the total charged and initiates a refund of the remaining 80% through Stripe; associated payouts are cancelled and affected talent are notified. An escrow already partially released cannot use this automatic cancellation path. Other refunds or disputes need admin review; timing depends on Stripe and the payment method.

Booking cancellations and no-shows

An admin can cancel a job with a stated reason; active applications and bookings are then cancelled and affected talent notified. A cancelled job is not a completed booking and the cancellation action itself does not calculate a talent cancellation payout. Talent payouts require a locked-in application, confirmed attendance and admin approval before appearing in the Wallet. No-shows and disputed amounts are reviewed by the team; a refund is not automatic just because a no-show is reported.
